Social Hurling

The Boys from U9 to U15 continue to meet up on Saturday mornings at the astro picth at the MTU Sports academy for an hour of social hurling.  This is an opportunity for the boys to keep up their practise during the off season.  Games will be supervised and whoever is available can just turn up that morning.  U9 to U11s meet at 9am, U12 to U15s meet at 10am.

GAA Generations
The GAA are looking for 12-21 olds to participate in a GAA/Unesco research project.  Participants should record a conversation with an older person (55+) in their local GAA community who they look up to or admire. Those who take part will receive online training and a UNESCO/GAA certificate of participantion.  Recordings will be stored on the GAA’s eLearning platform and published as part of the GAA archive.  Further info see http://gaa.ie/generations
