New Year Greetings

The club would like to wish all members, coaches, parents, sponsors and supporters all of the best for 2022.

Get Thinking
As the club is growing each year we need to think about how the club will be funded into the future.  Before we all get back to action on the pitch we plan to hold a number of workshops on the topic of fundraising.

We would like to have a wide range of experience involved in these workshops. Maybe members of other clubs will join with their ideas and suggestions.

People who join these discussions are not expected to take any actions unless they want to.  Anybody who would like to contribute should contact any member of the club executive or via Facebook messenger.

Club Anniversary
The club is ten years old this year.  We plan to hold a number of events to mark this special anniversary. It would be great to hear from anybody who would like to contribute an idea or get involved in any way.

New Management Teams
The upcoming season will see a change of management for our Senior Hurling and Camogie teams.

On the Camogie front, Carmel O’Shea-Maloney who has been involved with the Camogie players from the very beginning has decided to step aside.  Diarmuid Brennan will take over as manager for the 2022 season. Diarmuid was a coach last year.

On the hurling side, Brian Shannahan who has been involved since the senior team was formed in 2019 had also announced his intention to step aside.

For this season, Kevin O’Mahony will take over as manager and is in the process of putting the rest of his management team in place.  Kevin was a selector in Brians management team last year.

The club would like to sincerely thank Carmel and Brian for their immense work and dedication in their roles over the years.  We wish Diarmuid and Kevin the very best of luck in their new roles and for the season ahead.

U21 Hurling

The lads have been busy training over the Christmas period as they await the fixture details for the North Kerry U21 Final against Crotta.

Best of luck
We wish the Na Gaeil and Austin Stack players from our club all the best in the Munster Intermediate and Senior Football finals next weekend.
