Sympathies
The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Chute family on the recent passing of Ann Kos, mother of Camogie Chairperson Suzanne and grandmother of the Chute family members on our underage teams.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílí.

Calling Camogie Players
Camogie is growing in popularity in Kerry and the Camogie management team are actively seeking adult players to join the squad.

Management have a busy schedule planned for the upcoming season and are running a recruitment drive.

Anybody who is interested is welcome to come along to one of the open training sessions on Friday 4th (8 to 9pm) or Sunday 6th (4 to 5pm) February at the CBS The Green Astro Turf.  You can also contact the head coach, Diarmuid Brennan directly on 086 369 3131.

Fundraising Workshop
As the club celebrates it’s 10th Anniversary this year, we need to start planning for the next 10 years and beyond.

In 2021, the club plan was updated to cover the next five years. High on that agenda was an ambition to secure our own facilities.  While very achievable, it will require substantial capital funding.

We urgently need ideas from members and friends on how can we generate a reliable income stream that will give us sufficient funds to be able to help us achieve our dream of having a place to call our own, while continuing to meet the day-to-day operational expenses of running of the club.

We are holding a finance workshop in Kerins O’Rahillys clubhouse on Tuesday 1st February from 8:00pm-9:30pm to discuss a fundraising plan for the future.

You don’t have to be a club member to attend. Remember, no idea is a bad idea.  If you are not able to attend or missed the workshop feel free to reach out to any member of the club Executive or via Facebook Messenger.

Every Step Counts
Many club members are taking part in the Every Step Counts Challenge.  With three weeks to go it looks like we will be very close to the 4k total distance required to enter the draw for some ONeills vouchers for the club.

The challenge finishes on the 23rd February so there is still time to join-up and help to hit that target.

Steps are tracked through the Irish Life, MyLife app, which is free to download. The app can be linked to fitness tracking apps like Fitbit…etc.

Join the Munster GAA Challenge under the Challenges option in the app and select Tralee Parnells.  Users of the Irish Life app must be aged 18 and over.
