Tralee Parnells U7s with Manager David Lucid and assistant coaches as they sign off on a very enjoyable and successful 2022 season

Under 7s

The under 7s finished up their season on Friday evening in Caherslee. The boys began the evening with a series of warm ups followed by a few competitive races through tyres, nets, poles and shoulder bags. The evening ended with two fine hurling matches followed by a medal presentation with the much anticipated goody bags.

Congratulations to our players of the week Éanna Griffin and Darragh Moriarty, well done boys. Thank you to all of the coaches, youth coaches, the parents and especially to their manager David Lucid who made all this possible.  We look forward to seeing everybody back in action in 2023.

Under 13 Hurling

Our under 13s met Kilmoyley in the North Kerry Championship.  The match was at home in Caherslee on Friday evening under lights.  It was a very close affair with the match ending in a draw. Tralee Parnells 1-3 Kilmoyley 0-6.

Under 16 Hurling

Our U16s were due to meet Ballyheigue the final of the U16B North Kerry League on Sunday.  However, due to the bad weather the match had to be postponed as the pitch was unplayable.  Keep watching our social media pages for details of the new date.

Congratulations

Congratulations to our Feile All Ireland winning team on being awarded the Kerry hurling team of the year. The presentation was made by event organsier Mike Hallaron to our Juvenile Chairman Dermot Reen at the Kerry Hurling All Stars.

Best Wishes

Congratulations and best wishes to club senior hurler Andrew Morrissey and Una Kerins who were married at the weekend.  We wish Andrew and Una many years of health and happiness.

AGM

The club AGM will take place on Friday 18th November 2022 at 7:30 pm in Kerins O’Rahilys Clubhouse.  All club members are urged to volunteer for positions on the Executive Committee for 2023. Involvement in the club is essential for it’s future.

As Tralee Parnells is a Juvenile and Senior Club in both Hurling and Camogie there are lots of positions to be filled.  Notice of motions for the AGM and nominations of registered members to serve as an Executive Officer can be made by contacting the secretary Natalie Hennessy at secretary.traleeparnells.kerry@gaa.ie.  Nominations must be returned no later than Sunday, 6th November 2022.
