Tralee Parnells CrestSuccessful Parnells development workshop:
A strong attendance of dedicated volunteers met at Kerins O’Rahillys on Friday the 22nd of January, at the invitation of Parnells Chairperson Dermot Reen.
Our 2 excellent facilitators from Kerry County Board formed us into a number of discussion panels and for the next 2 hours the major elements of a Club Plan were discussed and debated among the attendees.
At the end of this lively and fruitful session, Dermot took an action to collect the recorded feedback of all the groups and to distribute the relevant sections to a number of nominated moderators.
Each moderator will have a small team of volunteers from the night, to collate and organise this material and draft it into a submission for inclusion in the Parnells 5 year plan. Dermot is anxious to have the Club Plan in place before April, so the groups now have a short number of weeks to prepare their submissions.
The club plan will be organised into a number of major sections, including general areas relating to coaching, management structures, facilities, finance and communications.
