traleeparnells 2Under 14s vs Rathmore:
Our under 14s played a fine match against Rathmore ending up in a draw Parnells 6-4 Rathmore 5-7. The match was notable for the debut of Darragh Maloney at this age group whilst two new players came along to try it out. There were outstanding performances from the usual core players however Brian Hamilton reached his best level to date.

Unfortunately despite this favourable result we cannot qualify for the County League semi final as we forfeited a game at the start of the year and this precludes us from progressing. However there will be further hurling at under 13/15 in the next few weeks and in late summer under 14s recommence with the South Kerry League.

Camogie Féile B Final:
Good luck to our Camogie under 14s in the Féile B Final Saturday evening the 28th. These 2 teams have a game each in their earlier encounters. So things are set up nicely for this decider Saturday.

Juvenile goalposts:
Parnells are running a fundraiser to raise money to buy at least two sets of Juvenile goalposts.
We need club members and parents to sell raffle lines(€2.50 a line) for a draw that will take place on Friday the 1st of July. There are three prizes on offer; 2 Premium tickets to see Beyonce in Croke Park, 2 tickets to the Munster hurling final, 2 tickets to the Munster football final. There are also prizes for the 3 best sellers; Free place on our summer camp, Hurley and two sliotars, Hurley. Raffle cards will be available Friday in Caherslee.

School 3rd Class Blitz:
Parnells working with South Kerry GDA David O Dea held a 3rd class blitz in the North Campus last week. 70 kids from Spa N.S, Tralee CBS and Blennerville all took part. Next step now for the majority of these kids is to start training with Parnells on Tuesday or Friday from 7 to 8 pm. We can loan playing equipment for a few weeks to all new boys and girls.

Well Done KY 15s:
No joy for the Kerry seniors but the Kerry Under 15s beat Offaly Sunday with Darragh Reen playing corner forward and Ruarí O Sullivan corner back. Well done lads
