Bring Your Hurley and March On Friday:

Players please bring your hurley with you and show the people of Tralee the skills we are developing among our players as we march along the parade route. All members and supporters, please contact club officers if you are available to march with us.

The theme for the 2017 parade is: A Celebration of Tralee Sport. So, Tralee Parnells have been asked to bring along every available player and family member, to show the people of Tralee just how many of us locally are enjoying and supporting hurling and Camogie in this area. As part of our Healthy Clubs initiative, we hope to highlight our ongoing association with Jigsaw Kerry, so watch out for their banner as we march along.

Onward to County Scór:

Well done Caoimhe Lyons (Sean Nos dancing) and Ailisha Daughton (storytelling) who qualified this week for the Scor Na bpaisti County finals in Foilmore on the 26th of March.

Launch Night 7th April:

The 7th is the night under 6s will join all other age groups in restarting training. So, our Tralee Parnells 2017 season Official Launch Night will take place at Caherslee Road GAA grounds on Friday evening the 7th of April. See you there.

Under 14 Interdivisional Camogie Blitz:

Huge thanks from Tralee Parnells to all in who organised the Under 14 Interdivisional Camogie Blitz in Castle Rd Cork city on Saturday the 11th of March. In this new venue under development near Mahon Point, several of our Tralee Parnells girls got to play 3 very useful games against divisional strength teams from among the Cork underage Camogie Interdivisional sides.

We much appreciate the opportunity to get valuable game time in Cork city against other Camogie sides.

Special word of thanks to Cork Camogie and Munster Camogie, in particular to Robáird Lotty who went out of his way to facilitate as many games as possible, for the contingent travelling from Kerry.

Lining out on the day from Parnells we had Clodagh Begley, Chloe Griffin, Hannah Sharkey, Yasmine Sultan, Aine O’Sullivan, Katie Dwyer, Saoirse Maloney, Clodagh O Sullivan, Aoife O’Sullivan, Caoimhe Donnelly, Anna Kerdzaia. Some photos from the day are linked from Parnells Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TraleeParnellsHurlingClub/

Kerry v Offaly Sun 26 Mar:

Tralee Parnells got approval for a collection outside Kerry v Offaly game on the 26th. This game should draw a big crowd, so Parnells volunteers are needed to help on the day. Please contact club mentors if you are available to help.

We also hope to see our under 10’s play at half time of that game, so a good day to fly the flag for the club and for Hurling and Camogie development in Tralee.
