TRALEE Rowing Club has a habit of holding some great fundraisers but they’ll be wearing them when they attempt to break a world record next month.
The launch of the Tralee Nun Challenge took place on Thursday at the Rowing Club boathouse by the Marina.
The Tralee Nun Challenge will take place on Saturday, June 15 at Tralee Town Park at 6.30pm, coinciding with the Féile na mBláth festival, where there will be an attempt to gather the most amount of people dressed as nuns in one place as possible, to get into the Guinness Book of World Records and raise funds for the club.

They are hoping as many people as possible get involved and tickets to take part are €20, which includes the costume.
While this is a fundraising event for Tralee Rowing Club, proceeds will also go to Pieta House. Tralee Rowing Club recognises the fact that that sport is so important in the lives of young people and therefore want to give back to Pieta House in recognition of all the fantastic work and care and help they give to young people.

I think a bit of originality is called for here for Tralee.
Tralee can do better that this.
Why not do something more fun and unique like a Rowing Box cart event / race where people make their own Rowing Box carts and race!
