Tralee Rugby Club To Host Junior Interprovincial Game

TRALEE Rugby Club will host an all-important clash between Munster Rugby and Ulster Rugby in the 2022 IRFU Junior Interprovincial Championship on Saturday, April 30.

The Interpro teams are made up of players specially selected from different junior clubs throughout each province who compete against each other at the end of each season.

The Munster side will compete in their first game against Connacht in Killarney on this Saturday, April 23 before travelling to Tralee the following Saturday and then to Wexford where they will take on Leinster at New Ross RFC.

Commenting on the Tralee fixture, club chairman Richard Sharp said; “We’re delighted to welcome both Munster and Ulster to Tralee Rugby Club on 30th April. This will be a fantastic afternoon of rugby and entertainment for all the family to enjoy. As well as the rugby, there’ll be a BBQ and music, so we’d encourage all rugby fans to come along and cheer on the teams on the day.”

Gates open at Tralee Rugby Club at 1pm on Saturday 30th April and the match kicks off at 2.30pm.
