Tralee Rugby Club’s Under 13s Win Major Tournament In Limerick

Tralee Rugby Club Under 13s with coaches after winning the Pat Lawlor Tournament yesterday in Limerick.

THE under 13 Tralee Rugby Club boys beat off all competition to win a major underage tournament in Limerick yesterday.

The Pat Lawlor Tournament has been running for the past 35 years with 50 teams from all over the country taking part and the youngsters from Tralee won it outright.

Previous winners of this tournament have been teams containing such great stars as Keith Earls, Ronan O’Gara and Peter Stringer.

The Tralee captain on the day was Luke Fitzgerald and the team was undefeated in all their six games. The coaches, Pat Lane, John Flynn and Richard Sharp also deserve great credit.
