Kerry International Film Festival is thrilled to be showcasing a preview of this fantastic film which is being released by Wildcard Distribution nationwide on Friday, June 16.

Speaking about the special preview of Sunlight, writer Ailbhe Keoghan said: “In an age where independent cinemas are closing daily, it’s more important than ever to get off our couches and go watch films together as a community. Thus, I am immeasurably happy to be able to share Sunlight with Kerry audiences a day before its nationwide release. I’m a proud Tralee woman and Siamsa is one of our greatest assets. Let’s support it and independent film in one wonderful swoop.”

The film has received fantastic reviews to date, including one from Scottish novelist, playwright and short story writer, Irvine Welsh who said “Sunlight is everything an independent film should be.” Tickets for Sunlight are now on sale via Siamsa Tíre Tralee and cost €10 +
