Tralee Toastmaster Of The Year Award For James

TRALEE Toastmasters has announced their new committee for 2021/22 and the winner of their 2021 Tralee Toastmaster of the Year Award.

At their recent AGM, outgoing President Sergey Udaltsov decided that the entire membership should be invited to vote for the award and the winner was James Finnegan.

The following members were elected as the incoming Committee for 2021-2022: President: John McGillycuddy; Immediate Past President: Sergey Udaltsov; Vice President Education; Donal McCarthy; Vice President Membership: James Finnegan; Vice President Public Relations: Paul Fitzgibbon; Secretary: Catriona O’Riordan; Treasurer: Sonia Elston; Sergeant at Arms: Aine Quinn.

James Finnegan was also elected unopposed to the role of Area B36 Director, a responsibility which includes Tralee, Listowel, Killarney, Newcastle West and Dell Limerick Toastmaster Clubs.

A number of long standing members stepped down from the committee after many years of dedicated, committed and successful years of service in a variety of roles within the club.

Appreciation and thanks was extended to Lily Tangney, Anne Lawlor and Anthony Garvey for their service.
