TRALEE Toastmasters are holding an open meeting on Monday, January 8 in Kerin’s O’Rahillys at 8pm. Guests go free.
“If one of your New year’s resolutions is to improve your public speaking skills or take part in a fun and exciting social group, then Tralee Toastmasters is the answer to your quest,” said Anthony Garvey, Vice President of Membership at Tralee Toastmasters.
Tralee Toastmasters Club was established in 1993. The club has about 30 active members with a diverse range of ages and occupations. It is a high standard club having achieved numerous awards over the years.
Generally speaking, the club meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, September to June and the meetings start at 8p.m. sharp.
”We absolutely love when guests attend to see first-hand what Toastmasters is all about,” Garvey continued. ”Guests are never asked to speak but are very welcome to do so if they wish. Our meetings conclude by 10 p.m. when we retire to the bar, to wet our whistles and again, guests are most welcome to join us!”
Membership for the year costs €90 and forms will be available on the night.
