If you are uncomfortable, nervous and can’t get your message across, when speaking to people at a meeting, wedding, public events or just in a group, then Toastmasters can help.

“Tralee Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment,” said Club President John McGillycuddy.

“We meet on the first and third Mondays of the month, currently over Zoom due to Covid-19 Regulations.  However, we have adapted, and we still enjoy all the various activities that make up a regular Toastmaster meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics (impromptu speeches) and evaluations,” he added.

“Don’t worry!  You will not be forced to speak, but we would encourage your contribution. We look forward to welcoming you,” said John.

Tralee Toastmasters was established in 1993.  The club has about thirty members with a diverse range of ages, occupations, and interests.  The Club has also achieved numerous awards over the years.

Toastmasters International is a worldwide nonprofit educational organisation that empowers individuals to become more effective and leaders.  The organisation’s membership exceeds 364,000 members in more than 16,200 clubs in 145 countries
