With over 140 members, Tralee Triathlon Club, is continuing to grow and they are now calling for new members to sign up and join their winter training programme.

This programme is designed for complete beginners and more advanced athletes to get them ready for next summer and their first ever triathlon.

“Whether you are completely new to triathlon or want to aim for a key triathlon event, Tralee Triathlon Club will help you. We want new members to come along and learn all about triathlon and by next year you will be doing your first triathlon,” said Club Chairperson, Siobhán Griffin.

The club is also hoping to attract athletes who want to become triathletes or experience athletes who want to improve any one of the three disciplines.

“If you want to do a Ironman or a key challenge event the club can also help. Its for all abilities and all levels and of course it is all about training in a social environment, meeting new people and having fun,” says Siobhan.

Information on membership and training will be available and first-time triathletes will be on hand to tell their personal stories of how they completed their first triathlon.
