Carol Tobin, originally from Oakpark, but now living in Dublin, has been nominated in the Best Comedian category.
The comedian/writer/actress/blogger is well-known for her appearances in many TV shows such as The Panel, The Savage Eye, BBC One Night Stand, The Apprentice You’re Fired, The Lucy Kennedy Show and RTE The Liffey Laughs.

She is regular on the comedy circuit and has performed at Kilkenny Cat Laughs, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Vodafone Comedy Festival, Electric Picnic, Oxegen Music Festival, Trim Satire Festival and Galway Comedy Festival.
She also contributes to the Huffington Post and runs a fashion blog (click here) with her equally stylish sister, Stephanie and has contributed many articles to the Sunday Independent over the years.
Stellar is a monthly Irish magazine and the aim of Stellar Shine Awards is to recognise young women aged 18 to 35 across categories like athletes, authors and role models.
