A FORMER student of Presentation Secondary School will be seen entering into a civil partnership in a casino tonight on the hit RTÉ show ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’.
The show, which will air at 9pm on RTE2, will feature Nora Dennehy, originally from Hawley Park, and her partner Katriona Hourihan who entered into a civil partnership in the Macau Sporting Club in Cork on Friday, February 13.
The ladies met at a Cork Pride event in 2011 and love blossomed.
After two years together Nora and Katriona decided to have baby – Willow – their pride and joy is now six months old.
In a media release for the show, there are quotes from both girls in the run up to their big day.
“I saw Katriona from afar and I just had to have her. She was just so beautiful. Katriona’s being thinking about this day since she was tiny…and I….haven’t!” said Nora.
Nora seems have firmly won over Katriona though, who said she wasn’t a lesbian when they met.
“I wasn’t a lesbian so it was very tricky for me. Nora’s definitely the first, the only and the last girl for me,” said Katriona.
