TWO women from Kerry will be among the five participants who will appear on the National Lottery Winning Streak game show on RTE One this Saturday .
Catriona Dunne from Caherslee, Tralee and Margaret Flaherty from Milltown, Killarney will take to the Winning Streak stage with high hopes of winning big and maybe even spinning the Grand Prize Wheel.
Catriona was feeding her dogs last Saturday evening when she got the call from her excited mother, Bridget, with the news her name was pulled out of the Winning Streak drum by Marty and Sinead. Catriona has been stunned since and can barely believe her luck.

Catriona (37) is a busy mum to three boys: Shane, Gerard and Jaden. Her partner Tom O’Sullivan is a social care worker and they are looking forward to cheering Catriona on on Saturday evening in RTE.
Catriona works as a retail assistant in Penney’s store in Tralee. When she gets precious time to herself she does she enjoys walking, often accompanied by the two family dogs: Magoo and Mollie.
Meanwhile Margaret Flaherty has been absolutely overwhelmed with the support from the local community in Milltown in Killarney since her name was pulled out of the Winning Streak drum to go on the show.

She has been inundated with callers and visitors who have been sending her good luck cards, flowers and chocolates. She admits the past few days have been surreal.
Margaret is a full time carer for her mother, Eileen, who is equally excited about her daughter’s upcoming appearance on the show.
Margaret likes reading and walking and watching some sports. However she is a big American Football fan and her favourite team is the Seattle Seahawks and she enjoys watching the annual Super Bowl event!
Luck is not a new thing for Margaret as she won first prize in the raffle at the annual Puck Fair in Killorglin in 2012.
The prize was a Limousin Heifer (a breed of cattle from France) but needless to say, Margaret opted for the cash alternative of €1,500. With any winnings from the show, Margaret would like to upgrade her car.
The next episode of Winning Streak, will be broadcast next Saturday evening (14th April) at 8:15pm on RTÉ One.
