A TRALEE woman will feature on an RTE Documentary tonight (Thursday) looking at the lives of people who were born into deaf families.
“Mother Father Deaf” airs at 10.15pm on RTE ONE and is a touching and informative one-off special about what it’s like growing up with deaf parents and walking the line between deaf and hearing worlds.
Three CODAs – Children of Deaf Adults – including Catherine White from Tralee, will open up about what it was like to grow up in such a household. Some of the parents also get the opportunity to reflect on the experience and how they think it shaped their children. Have a look at the preview below…
