BRYAN Cooper is to be honoured this Thursday with a civic reception in his hometown.
Kerry County Council will host the reception at county buildings at 7pm, to acknowledge his great achievement by riding Don Cossack to victory in the Cheltenham Gold Cup back in March.
The 23 year old received a hero’s welcome home back in March in Blennerville and no doubt the he’ll be feted in council chambers again this Thursday.
