A LOCAL student and TraleeToday.ie columnist has won an award at the prestigious .eu Web Awards for her website.
Founder of teentimes.eu, Zoe O’Connor, is a leaving certificate student in Brookfield College in Tralee, a well known blogger and YouTuber and also writes a weekly column for TraleeToday.ie.

Teentimes.eu was one of three finalists in the ‘House of .eu’ Category for the best website or blog which represents companies or private persons in the news, media or entertainment industry.
Zoe travelled to Brussels for the Gala Awards ceremony last night where winners in all 5 categories, (Leaders, Rising Stars, The Laurels, House of .eu and Better World) were officially announced at the glittering awards ceremony.
While Zoe didn’t win her category, her website was awarded the Special Commendation Award on the night.
www.teentimes.eu is a blog written by a teen for teens and the parents of teens. It features articles on beauty, fashion and lifestyle and also commentary on issues that affect teens including anxiety and confidence.
The Web Awards is an online competition, launched in 2014, where .eu and .ею websites can be nominated for a chance to win a prestigious award. Nominations were open to all sites, be they an established national business, a start-up, a green initiative promoter, an educational institution or an entertainment blog.
