‘Dancing With The Stars’ winners John Nolan and Mairead Ronan will be judges at Dawn Milk Ladies Day in Killarney.

GLAMOROUS ‘Dancing with the Stars’ winners Mairead Ronan and John Nolan have been confirmed as the celebrity judges for the hugely popular Dawn Milk Queen of Fashion competition at Killarney Races in a couple of weeks with trips to Paris and Milan up for grabs.

Dawn Milk Ladies Day at the races will be on Thursday, July 18 and Mairead and John will be keeping a close eye on the style stakes with some sensational prizes on offer for the most head-turning and appropriate outfits.

The winner of the best dressed lady contest will receive a trip for two to romantic Paris and the best dressed gent will take home a trip for two to magnificent Milan.

Judging will start at 2.00pm and 10 finalists will be selected for both the ladies and men’s categories.

The five-day meeting will commence on Monday, July 15 with the hugely popular Milliners event and Mad Hatters competition. Great prizes must be won for the best hand-made adult and children’s hats or head-pieces with top class and hugely creative milliners exhibiting unique and beautiful pieces on the evening.

The Wednesday meeting will also be something very special as punters will have an opportunity to meet the stylish Rose of Tralee contestants and the highlight will be the Sauternes Wine Cup.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be evening meetings and the afternoons will come alive at Killarney Racecourse on the Thursday and Friday.

Friday, July 19 is a new date for the Killarney July Festival of Racing and there is a fabulous celebration planned to mark the occasion with fantastic live entertainment on the cards and, such is the demand, the hospitality suite is almost fully booked already.

The overall prize pool for July is a whopping €560,000 and, of course, punters will get to enjoy wonderful action on the track with some of the top trainers in the business testing their star performers at the most scenic racecourse in the country.

As an added attraction and for the convenience of guests, Killarney Racecourse will run a free shuttle bus to and from the track each day for one hour prior to racing and one hour after with the collection and drop-off point at the Killarney Avenue Hotel.

Admission is €20 per day for adults and €25 on Ladies Day and hospitality packages and tickets are available to purchase on www.killarneyraces.ie.
