Over the spring and early summer of 2019, Kite Entertainment, (the people behind Ireland’s Fittest Family, Gogglebox Ireland, Who Do You Think You Are? and Ireland’s Got Talent), is filming the brand new TV series for Virgin Media Television, featuring the exciting new intergenerational living experiment.
It will offer a snapshot of what life is really like for people at both ends of the housing spectrum. The newly-paired households will live together for 2 weeks, spending some time together every day, sharing their lives and getting the chance to see things from a new perspective.
For the homeowner, it’s a chance to combat the everyday loneliness of living in an empty house. For the renter, a chance to live rent free, in return for their time and helping with some chores.
At the end of the 2-week experiment, they will each decide if they’d be willing to give it a go – long term.
They are looking for Homeowners (65+), and Renters (21+) to take part. If you’re interested in finding out more, email them at casting@kiteentertainment.com or call them on 01 5611 692 or 085 826 3439.
