PHONEWATCH has opened its first office in Tralee, and will be creating up to 12 new jobs initially, with additional jobs being created as the company grows its business in Kerry.

The offices at Denny Street were officially opened by Kerry GAA Star Marc Ó Sé today.  PhoneWatch is actively recruiting for its sales team to lead the company’s expansion in the county and has appointed Vincent Murtagh from Tralee as Sales Manager for the new office.

He is very excited to be leading the PhoneWatch business expansion in Kerry.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for me personally and I’m thrilled to be leading the growth of the PhoneWatch business in Kerry.  It also brings much needed new jobs to the county which is something I am incredibly proud to be part of,” he said.

He continued; “PhoneWatch is a fantastic company to work for.  It has a structured training programme, and provides daily coaching and mentoring which gives you every opportunity to progress in your career,” he said.  “We’re always looking for the right people and I’d encourage anyone interested in a career in sales to talk to us, even if they have no sales experience”.

Details of new jobs available at PhoneWatch in Tralee and in other locations can be found at http://www.phonewatch.ie/careers-at-phonewatch  or call PhoneWatch on 1850 442 700 to speak to one of the recruitment team.

Speaking at the opening, Alen Tully, Sales Director at PhoneWatch said; “People are becoming increasingly concerned about home safety.  Almost every day the newspapers are reporting on burglary and rural crime.  Up to the 30th of September 2015, 327 burglaries were recorded in Kerry and those are only the ones that were reported.  The trends are suggesting that this is set to continue into 2016.”

He continued. “PhoneWatch is encouraging all householders to review their home security arrangements.  We no longer live in a society where keys can be left in doors or window left open.  Thieves thrive on rural isolated areas.   The only way to adequately ensure that your house is protected is by installing a monitored home security system.”
