TRALEE is well on the way to achieving the goal of being the first town in Ireland to roll-out the Ask For Angela Campaign to an entire town and promote a safer night out in Kerry’s capital.

Twenty pubs have now signed-up to the initiative since it was launched on Friday 6th April and each premises has provided training to staff to help anyone who may need to Ask For Angela.

When a customer uses the code-phrase ‘Ask For Angela’, the staff in Tralee’s pubs will know that something is not right and will then help the customer by discretely removing them from the situation.
