TWO juniors from Tralee Tennis Club have recently made themselves and their club very proud after they both came away victorious from various Munster Competitions held over the last two weekends.
Peter Walsh was the winner of the U14 Plate at the 2016 Junior South of Ireland Tennis Championships, which took place at Limerick Lawn Tennis Club, on March 20, while Mark Gazi won the U10’s category of the same competition and also successfully defended his U10 title at the Carrigaline Junior Tennis Open in Carrigaline, Cork on Easter Monday, March 28.
Both competitions were very competitive but the boys managed to show skill and composure to battle through. They have put a lot of work in by practising on the court with coaches and parents and the hard work has paid off as they are delighted with their wins and to show off their trophies to their friends and families.
