UHK Extends Cancellation Of Many Outpatient Scheduled Appointments

A STATEMENT from management at University Hospital Kerry issued this evening confirmed the extended cancellation of outpatient scheduled appointments at UHK up to and including Friday, January 7.

This is due to the continuing difficulties associated with increasing Covid-19 numbers and staffing challenges.

The exceptions to the cancelled clinics are:
– Orthopaedic Trauma Clinics
– Infusion Clinics
– Cardiology Out Patient scans & procedures
– Radiology Out Patient imaging/procedures
– Virtual Clinics
– Antenatal Clinics
– Oncology Clinics
– Colposcopy Clinics

Other than the above listed clinics, University Hospital Kerry is kindly requesting that patients do not attend scheduled appointments at UHK Out Patient Department unless they receive a call from UHK staff.

Any appointments deemed to be emergency are being worked on presently with a view to early rescheduling.

Should you have an urgent query in relation to an OPD appointment, please contact the relevant Consultant’s secretary.

Hospital management would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and all cancelled appointments will be rescheduled.
