UHK Staff To Take To Dancefloor For ‘Sickly Come Dancing — The Relapse’

IT’S back!

Following on from the University Hospital Kerry Sports & Social Club’s previous events Sickly Come Dancing 2018 and UHK Got Talent 2019, they are a hosting a third fundraiser at the end of the month.

‘Sickly Come Dancing — The Relapse’ will take place on Friday , March 27 in Ballygarry House Hotel where they will add to tens of thousands already raised from previous events.

The 12 couples, all hospital staff, have been practicing since last November with choreographer Honor Hurley and they are set to deliver a scintillating show to their colleagues.

This year all money raised is going towards the redevelopment of the Coronary Care Unit / High Dependency Unit of UHK. The Sports and Social Club committee organise these events to bring staff together, lift staff morale and give the staff a great night’s entertainment.

“All staff work so hard it’s great to see them enjoying a good night’s entertainment, the money raised for the hospital is an added bonus,” said Mairead Kelliher of the organising committee.

The couples were introduced by MC for the occasion, Tim Moynihan, to fellow staff colleagues at a special launch in the hospital canteen on Monday afternoon.
