Vandalism At Community Rooms Near GAA Club

The window which was smashed at the weekend at the community rooms opposite St Pats GAA pitch but has since been replaced.

A LOCAL GAA club is appealing for members of the public to help gardaí with their investigation into an act of vandalism at the weekend.

The St Pats GAA Club Facebook page had a post up yesterday asking people for help after the community rooms opposite the pitch was the subject of “a cowardly act of vandalism on Saturday night/Sunday morning last.”

The club said a number of panes of glass were damaged resulting in €385 worth of damage. It’s not the first time this has happened at the premises with vandals striking a number of times over the years.

“The person who carried out this cowardly act will have had a lot of glass on their clothing and may have suffered cuts to their hands and face. We appeal to anyone who may have information on this cowardly act to contact Tralee Garda Station on 0667102300 who are investigating the matter,” read the post.
