Two men were still being questioned this afternoon about injuries inflicted on a man in Killeen Woods last night.
TWO men are still being questioned in Tralee Garda Station after last night’s suspected assault on a man at a house in Killeen Woods.
Speaking to Radio Kerry today, Supt Jim O’Connor said there were “very serious injuries inflicted” on the man, who is a foreign national.
“We believe the injuries were inflicted shortly before emergency services arrived at the location in Killeen Woods,” said Supt O’Connor, who appealed to anyone who was in the Killeen Woods area between 10pm and 11pm and saw anything suspicious to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
The man in his twenties was discovered by the emergency services in the front garden of a house in Killeen Woods at 10.30pm last night.
Two men in their late 20s and early 30s, who are also both foreign nationals, were arrested near the scene a short time later and are still being questioned at Tralee Garda Station.
