YOU know we’re well and truly into All-Ireland final countdown when the schools are recording songs to support the lads.
Last year, Moyderwell pupils told Kerry to ‘shake’ off the challenge of Donegal, this year it’s the kids from across town in Scoil Eoin, Balloonagh, who have recorded a video encouraging Kerry to ‘rock’ the Dubs.
With Nathan Carter’s ‘Wagon Wheel’ as a backing track, the pupils are filmed in their classrooms and in the yard cheering on individual players and the team in their quest to being home Sam in a song called ‘Rock Them Dubs’.
