A LOCAL dance group here in town are looking to raise funds for a great local group by organising a Zumbathon in Fels Point Hotel on Saturday.
The theme of the night will to ‘Dance For A Cause’ as the organisers, Zumba Salsa Kerry, hope to raise funds for the fantastic work being done in the ‘Inspired’ group, located above the currently closed shop in the Square.
The area for classes and workshops is open Mondays and Fridays.
Inspired looks to help young adults with learning difficulties to become active citizens in their own communities as they look also to give them more options to look at once they leave school.
They offer an area where employment skills, educational and personal skills can be developed through the use of a group forum.
Family and friends are encouraged to pop down for the exciting event and are encouraged to bring a spare change of clothes (colourful outfits are encouraged) if they plan on getting into the Zumba spirit.
There will be a raffle held on the night also, with lots of amazing prizes to be won.
The entrance fee on the night will be €10 with all funds from the night going to ‘Inspired’.
