CBS The Green qualified for their first O’Sullivan Cup final  in five years following a pulsating semi-final victory over reigning All-Ireland champions, Pobal Scoil Corca Dhuibhne, played in John Mitchels grounds last Wednesday.

The game went all the way to extra time with CBS coming back from the dead in normal time with a goal and point in the last two minutes.

Down to 14 men in extra time, their never say die attitude was evident when they overcame a one point deficit with points from Cian Sheridan and Michael O’Donnell.

Churchill man and Kerry minor, Ivan Parker, put in an all-star performance scoring 2-6.

The Green CBS  now play St Brendans Killarney in the final on December 3.
