THE rehearsals are in full swing now ahead of the St Pat’s Strictly Come Dancing event next week.
The 12 couples will take to the stage in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Friday, December 4 in a fundraiser to help pay for their new astro-turf pitch and they’re being put through their moves in Cassie Leen’s Dance Studio in Castle Street.
This is the third year of the event and a crowd of over 400 are expected for a fantastic night of entertainment. The club made around €8,000 a year from the previous two events so they’re hoping for similar support this time out.
Tickets are €20 available from O’Shea’s Gala in Blennerville and from committee members.
