IT was a great afternoon of family fun in the Town Park on Saturday for the Meadowlands Hotel Fancy Dress Fun Run.
Part of the Tír Na nÓg festival taking place around the town this weekend, the event drew a plethora of ‘Annas’, ‘Elsas’, ‘Batmen’, ‘Spidermen’ and many more great costumes from participants.
Hundreds gathered to watch Linda Flanagan of Zumba Salsa Tralee teaching kids how to dance while the characters from Kingdom Party Pals also joined in.
The race itself was a short affair as kids dashed around a short circuit getting a memento for their achievement.
It was a great day and much credit must go to Dejan Kolic and Sophia O’Brien who organised the entire day as part of their final project in IT Tralee.
