Cloud and sun, with a bit of drizzle is the forecast for the weekend.

Well, it’s looking alright for Kerry, but Met Eireann is warning of cloudy conditions in the south-west tomorrow.

Met Eireann says humid but cloudy weather will be the main picture on Saturday, while Sunday could see some sunny spells. All in all though, it will be dry which is the main thing.

Friday will be a mostly dry day, with some sunny spells, but a few scattered light showers may occur. Maximum temperatures 17 to 20 Celsius, in light southwesterly breezes.

Tonight will be dry in most parts, but cloudier conditions will move gradually in from the south-west, bringing a little patchy rain or drizzle to parts of the Kerry and west Cork coasts by morning, with hill and coastal fog.

Saturday will be warm and humid but it will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of light rain and drizzle. Maximum temperatures of 19 to 22 Celsius.

Sunday should be dry in most areas, with some sunny spells and temperatures in the high teens but again there’s a chance of cloud and drizzle on Atlantic coasts. Not bad but not great so, is the picture they’re painting for us.
