WATCH: Business Shares CCTV Of Thieves Stealing Charity Boxes From Premises

A CASTLEISLAND business has shared CCTV footage of two thieves who stole charity boxes from their premises back in June.

The footage, taken on cameras outside and inside DenJoe’s Family Restaurant on Church Street, Castleisland, shows the two thieves breaking into the restaurant via a window and then running inside the premises and leaving with the boxes.

The break-in took place on Saturday, June 9 at 2am and the charity boxes were for Pieta House and for a local child in need of medical assistance.

The two suspects are seen in the video wearing tracksuits and runners with one wearing their jacket up to cover their face and the other having a coat with a fur-lined hood.

The car is believed to be a Nissan Almera from the 1990s or early 2000s and they put black tape over the number plate to conceal it from CCTV.
