Éanna O’Connor was home in south Kerry for Christmas from Kildare — where he works as a teacher — and decided to keep up the football practice despite Storm Eleanor raging outside.
The footballer, who won a Leinster club championship with Moorefield back in December, decided to launch a football out into St Finan’s Bay but it didn’t get very far as you can see below.
The son of former Kerry senior boss, Jack O’Connor, Eanna has seen the short video — tweeted by Killarney man Martyn Rosney — go viral on numerous social media sites such as Sportbible and has been viewed around two million times. It’s easy to see why. Watch it below…
