MICHAEL Fassbender was back home yesterday to receive the greatest honour the town of Killarney can bestow on a native or visitor – the Order of Inisfallen.
He was joined by girlfriend, Alicia Vikander, at Muckross House for the ceremony, followed by a black-tie dinner at the Europe Hotel and Resort, not far from where he grew up in Fossa.
