EVERYBODY has seen the video of Tralee woman Lorraine Walsh tacking the ferocious spider she found in her kitchen in Caheranne at the start of November.
To refresh your memory, Lorraine doesn’t really like our eight-legged friends so she got out the hoover to try and get rid of the harmless insect.
Her friend, Eve Savage, decided to capture the moment for posterity and after it was uploaded to Facebook it went viral with Joe.ie, Independent.ie, Lovin.ie, a German news network and many more sharing the clip.

But now it has received a new lease of life after Cosmopolitan (UK & US) and Esquire magazines put it up on their social media last night and it has garnered around 750,000 views so far. Added to the previous views on other sites, that’s taken it way over the 1,000,000 views mark.
