THE ‘Terrace Talk’ programme has scooped the Gold in the category of the ‘Best Sports Programme of the Year’ at the prestigious PPI Awards held on Friday night in Lyrath Castle, Kilkenny.
The PPI’s are the ‘Oscars’ of the radio world and the Weeshie Fogarty-presented show was up against such well-known programmes as Newstalk’s ‘Off the Ball’, ‘Premier League Live’ from Today FM, RTÉ Radio 1’s Sunday Sport and ‘Looking Back’ from Galway Bay FM.
Produced by Ciaran O’Regan, the win is a huge honour for the programme and the station.
