Welsh Choir To Perform Fundraising Concert At St Brendan’s Church

The Morriston Orpheus Choir.

A WELSH choir will be in Tralee next week to perform a fundraising concert in aid of 321 Down Syndrome Kerry Charity Shop.

The all male Morriston Orpheus Choir will sing at Our Lady and St Brendan’s Church on Friday, September 13 at 7.30pm in an event organised by Tralee Rotary Club in association with Down Syndrome Kerry.

The Morriston Orpheus Choir was formed in 1935 and its reputation has spread far and wide from the town in South Wales, which gives it its name.

They have travelled the world; holding concerts in the Far East, in Australia, in North America and Europe. They have performed in the Sydney Opera House, New York’s Carnegie Hall and the National Concert Hall in Taiwan.

Tickets for this event are €20 which includes a post-concert wine reception in the Meadowlands Hotel and a sing-a-long with the choir. Tickets are available from Tralee Rotary Club members or on Eventbrite by clicking here
