Wet And Windy Night Forecast For The Big Match In Tralee

IT’S not looking good weatherwise.

Tralee is going to be rocking this weekend as we welcome the Dubs to town, but if you’re heading to Austin Stack Park you better come prepared.

The town is well decked out with Kerry, Mayo and Dublin flags — the Mayo ones in anticipation of the clash in town on March 12 — and the publicans are looking forward to a busy Saturday.

However, according to Met Eireann, it’s set to be a wet night in town so you’ll have to start queuing outside the stadium from before 5pm tomorrow to be in with a chance of a covered seat in the stand. Previous Kerry v Dublin games in Tralee have seen the stand full an hour before throw-in.

At the moment Met Éireann is forecasting rain all day and all night on Saturday, getting heavier from around 7pm onwards and this will be accompanied by strong winds.

Better bring the rain-gear and a strong umbrella!
