A 60 year old woman has been killed in a car accident in Manor West tonight.
Gardaí in Tralee, are investigating the fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Manor West, at approximately 6.30pm this evening.
An 60 year old female pedestrian was fatally injured when she was struck by a car. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured.
The road is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
