Woman Who Died In Limerick Crash Was Tralee Resident

Garda AccidentTHE woman of Nigerian origin, who died in a crash between Rathkeale and Newcastle West, was a resident in Tralee.

The woman, aged in her 30s, died after the car she was driving crashed near the Applegreen Service Station at Coolanoran on the N20 around 11.30pm on Saturday night.

The woman was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was removed to University Hospital Limerick. The male passenger (mid 40s) and two back seat passengers, children aged 14 and 11 were all taken to University Hospital Limerick with non life threatening injuries. It’s understood they were travelling  to Tralee  where they live, when the crash occurred.
