719px-WC-2014-Brasil.svgDID you follow our tips yesterday and catch Belgium winning 2-1 at 7/1? Oh well.

Today sees a do or die game for Spain, Australia face the rampant Dutch and Croatia will hope to bounce back against a Cameroon side who failed to impress against Mexico.

Australia V Netherlands 5pm

Australia got off to a horrible start last Friday against Chile but, to be fair, they did make a good go of it in the second half. Tim Cahill looked lively enough in that game but they are seriously lacking in quality players.

The Dutch looked ruthless in their opener against the Spanish and look to be firing on all cylinders so, unless they take their eye off the ball, another goalfest could be on the cards.

You can get the Dutch to win 4-1 at 18/1 in Ladbrokes, who will also give you 10/1 for Robin Van Persie to score a hat-trick.

Spain V Chile 8pm

This is a tough one. Chile are a fine side and their explosive start against Australia was enough to clinch victory on Friday. Spain were demolished 5-1 that same night by the Netherlands and it’s a serious test of their character against a quality Chile.

I think Spain will rise to the challenge even though Chile are very good value at 9/2 in most places. Ladbrokes will give you 17/2 on a 2-1 Spain victory.

Cameroon V Croatia

The Balkan side will feel aggrieved at decisions against them in their opener against Brazil last Thursday, when they played quite well. Cameroon were lucky to be nil against the Mexicans but know anything other than a win here will see them on the plane home, as they face the hosts in their last game.

Tough one to call but a 1-1 draw at 7/1 in Ladbrokes looks the best value.
