YOU may have noticed that it’s pretty rotten outside today, but it should clear later this evening.

The rain is coming down at the moment and Met Eireann has issued a Yellow Status Weather Advisory for Munster, Leinster, Cavan and Monaghan.

There’ll be heavy rain today, continuing in the east for a time tonight, with totals of 25 to 35 mm.

The warning is in place until 3am on Thursday, but thankfully the forecast is that it should clear up in Kerry by late afternoon or early evening.
