JOURNALIST and author Breda Joy will sign copies of her book, ‘Hidden Kerry, The Keys to the Kingdom’ at Eason’s Tralee this Saturday, November 15 at 2.30pm.
Hidden Kerry takes a leisurely stroll along some of the lesser-known paths of the Kingdom to reveal a world of amazing characters and colourful characters.
Tralee is seen through the eyes of Mike O’Donnell and Tomas Slattery. The infamous landlord’s agent, Samuel Hussey, who was ‘dynamited’ when he lived in Edenburn House is among the characters featured.
Hidden Kerry brings back stories that have remained years off the beaten track but deserve to be known by everyone from locals to visitors alike. It takes readers on a journey through Kerry, starting in Tarbert and finishing under the Paps Mountains near Rathmore.
