In the first round of the Development League Ardfert welcomed An Gaeltacht to The Sportsfield on Sunday morning. It was an entertaining game played in perfect conditions and great to see all the young players getting valuable game time. Final score Ardfert 0-09 An Gaeltacht 3-14.

We had a great turnout when our Academy returned on Thursday evening for U5s, U7s & U9s. Training continues this Thursday from 6-7pm at the ARC Astro turf beside the Medical Centre.  Please bring €2 to cover costs. Photos from the 1st training session are on our Facebook Page.

Our 13As travelled to Finuge for rd 1 of the County League on Sunday evening. It was a high quality game between 2 evenly matched teams. We were a point or 2 up for most of the game. However, Finuge got on top at the end, scoring the last 3 points to win the game by 1 point. Final score Finuge 1-13 Ardfert 2-09.

Our U13Bs opened their county league campaign with a comprehensive win over Kilcummin in Ardfert on Sunday evening. We were in control from the start and great movement and teamwork led to some brilliant scores. A great start for the lads who did themselves proud. Final score 2-16 to 0-06

Next weekend our As will host Northern Gaels & our Bs will host Fossa B
