THE Ardfert Tractor Run took place on Sunday, August 9 in aid of CRY Ireland (Cardiac Risk in Youth).

It was held in memory of the late Lillie Gaynor who passed away last year and the proceeds of €14,454.70 were presented to Lillie’s parents for the CRY Ireland Charity recently.

“We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the tractor participants, all donations and contributions received, all to all those who helped out on the day, including our stewards, and to all who took part in our event,” said Martin Woulfe, Chairman of Ardfert Tractor Run.

“The day far exceeded our expectations, shattered our previous record of 136 tractors and our new record is now 190. This signifies how well this charity was received and how the community and the people of Kerry came to support it,” added Martin.
